Staying Free From Sticky Things

People allow a critical statement, a failure or mistake made years ago to haunt them all the time or hold them back from fulfilling their destiny. I strongly believe that it is a foolish thing to adhere or cling to all you hear, because not everyone has a right to speak into your life, and not every word requires an answer. One of the most powerful principles that you can apply to acquire momentum is the principle of not letting things stick. That's why God cleanse us from all unrighteousness (I John 1:9). Guilt: A feeling of responsibility for wrong doing-or delinquency-living under the yoke of blame. God has made a way for the guilty person to unload his quilt at the cross of Calvary, and there be set free at once through the blood of Jesus. When you sin or fall, don't run from God and make lies your refuge. Run to God. Shame: A painful sense of having done something wrong, improper or disgraceful. The state of one who has lost favor-face. Ps 3:13"But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head". Trust God and His word, more than you trust your feelings, circumstances, etc.. Regret: mental distress caused by something beyond one's power to remedy, cure or correct. Regrets language sounds something like this-I could have, I should have, I wish I never did or said that! Yesterday ended last night. And so today, it is more valuable to look ahead and prepare than it is to look back and regret. Never let regret replace your dreams. Regret looks back, worry looks around, but faith looks up and says, with God all things are possible. God doesn't review your past to determine your future. God said, remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old, behold I will do a new thing. Fear: An unpleasant feeling aroused by the threat of danger, evil, or pain. Cowardice: one who lacks courage or self confidence. David said(Ps 23) though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for Thou art with me. Intimidation is another form of fear. Know that God has not given you that spirit, so resist that spirit in Jesus name. Rejection: To set aside, to spit out, to refuse, to push away, not give audience. Someone said, rejection is not final, it is just someone's opinion. What do you do with rejection? Shake it off. Go where you are celebrated instead of tolerated. It can be beneficial to receive constructive criticism from those who have your best interest at heart and are of like mind. Matt 10:14"And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words when you depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet." Remember, you're responsible to respond to God.

Wells of Blessings

A man who is weak in his devotions and worldly in his desires will inevitably be wrong in his decisions. When a man is keenly acquainted with God, he will be divinely restrained from making major wrong choices. Issac fought no great battles, built no mighty cities, erected no imposing monuments. He quietly dug wells, and by doing so, he simply left a trail of blessings behind him everywhere he went. Read the story in Genesis 26:15-35.  Never make lies a refuge for protection, for a harbor of lies is no real port in a storm. Wells were a source of life and refreshment and Issac was symbolically ministering Christ to needy souls by digging wells. An altar which symbolized his personal relationship with God was no longer sufficient, he now wanted to share his relationship with God with others so he dug wells. He was making life giving water available to all.

Father and Daughter Meeting-Greatness and Relationship

Greatness is not the absence of weakness, because everyone has weakness. Greatness is being able to walk away from the temptation of pleasure in order to protect your integrity and relationship with God. Joseph did not walk away from Potiphar's wife because he did not desire her, but rather because he chose to protect his integrity and his relationship with God. Your pain has not been in vain, because on the other side of the door of pain is promotion. It's your time for the recompense of reward. We are designed for connection-eyes require a view, ears require sound, and the mind requires thoughts. Aloneness creates vulnerability. God knew it. Marriage was not created as a mere reproduction center for human babies. Marriage is sowing ground where you sow your patience, love, enthusiasm. But know this, God will never give you a gift that will replace His presence. A mate is not designed to produce your joy. The presence of God creates your joy. Ps 16:1 "In thy presence there is fullness of Joy"(fullness implies: requiring nothing in addition). Your mate is a gift from God to you to protect your focus, reduce distractions, create a climate for sowing. Unfortunately, some who qualify for our attention are often unqualified to receive our heart. We are created for connection. One cannot be fruitful alone. As the seed needs the ground, even so man needs the woman. If you are thinking about marriage, here are some suggestions. Think twice if you do not possess a passionate desire to give to them. Too often marriage becomes an exchange. Exchange is the evidence of business, not love. The proof of uncommon love is the investment of Time. Think twice if they do not possess a passionate desire to give back to you. A listening ear, flexibility, patience and the willingness to be corrected in what I am talking about. Think twice if your personal achievements do not create excitement in them.  Real love does not compete with the success of another. Think twice if they have not been captivated by what has captivated you. Are they stirred by the same things that stir you. God said(Amos 3:3)"Can two walk together, except they be agreed?" Strife is the product of two different belief systems clashing. Think twice if you have lost your desire to impress him. Familiarity often incubates disrespect and indifference. Protect his focus-reduce his distractions-create a climate for sowing. You are a walking message system to those you love. Think twice if they never ask you quality questions concerning your greatest dreams or goals. Think twice if you do not see continuous improvement in the relationship. Bonding should increase unity and bring a decrease in contention and strife. Think twice if they have an obsession to attract the attention of the opposite sex. Think twice if pebble problems unleash mountains of anger in them. Think twice if they refuse to find a job. II Thess 3:10-11, 14"Paul warned, this we command you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat. For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies...and if any obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed."  Remember, greatness is being able to walk away from the temptation of pleasure in order to protect you integrity and relationship with God.

Thoughts of Faith in God

Faith is a product (supply or yield) of the Word of God. Rom10:17"So then, faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God". When you got born again, God dealt you the measure of faith that you needed, in order for you to be victorious and accomplish all the will of God in this life to the glory of God. That measure of faith is meant to grow and develop by feeding it on the Word, and then exercising the Word. Exercise the Word by using faith filled words like Jesus did. He called forth Lazarus, he cursed the fig tree, he rebuked the winds and sea. Now is our turn to exercise our faith. It is the exercise of the authority of the believer on earth. It is man speaking as God's mouthpiece on the earth. Faith filled words have creative power. Life and death are in the power of the tongue. As you begin to use faith filled words, rather than fear filled or idle words, than God and the Angels will have something to work with in order to bring about the manifestation of the promises of God in your life. Another way that faith is exercised is by corresponding actions of faith. "For as the body without the spirit is dead, even so faith without works is dead also". Your faith is ever living, ever growing. You have the God kind of Faith, the wonder working faith. Hope brings the potential of healing or prosperity or deliverance from fear through the Word of God, but faith (faith filled words, and corresponding actions of faith) release that potential and brings about the manifestation of the desired results. The five physical senses create a barrier of limitations, but living faith can punch a hole through the five senses and lay hold of that which the five senses say is impossible, and pull it into the possible or natural realm. Living faith never senses defeat nor failure. It believes all things are possible. Whatever you can perceive with your five physical senses you don't need faith for. But whatever you have need of in the natural that God's word gives you a promise for, you can and should use your faith to obtain it. If you're sick, use your faith to help you get well. If you're broke, use your faith to help you become financially blessed. Remember, Abraham's blessings are yours. If you lack favor, use your faith to have divine favor in the eyes of all that look upon you and hear your voice, in Jesus name. If you're feeling down and discouraged, use your faith to give you a supernatural lift. Your faith can be stunned or rocked for a moment or two, but true faith never excepts defeat nor failure, it always finds a way and wins. "Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ". In it's simplest form, faith is the hand that receives from Almighty God.

5 Major Golden Keys or Rules For a Successful Prayer Life

There maybe other keys that are important but these are the 5 most important keys about prayer. The first, Jesus gave us the legal right to the use of His name in prayer, just as in Mark 16 He gave us the legal right to use  His name to cast out devils, lay hands on the sick, speak with other tongues, etc... Pray according to what the Word of God says. Second key in prayer is believe you receive. Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, what things soever you desire when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them. Why is believing so vital? It is the bridge that leads to answered prayer. Faith and what you say are inseparably connected. Matt 17:20 "And Jesus said unto them, because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you shall say unto the mountain, remove hence to yonder place, and it shall remove, and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Forgiveness is the third key to successful prayer life. Read Mark 11:24-26 Bitterness or unforgiveness is a principality: under it, and answering to it, are seven spirits that reinforce bitterness or unforgiveness. When unforgiveness gets a foothold, the first thing that happens is you begin to keep a record of wrongs. After unforgiveness gets  a foothold and creates a record of wrongs, then resentment creeps in and is being fueled by feelings, and then you meditate on those hurt feelings. Then retaliation wants to make the person pay. Retaliation says, I don't forgive, I just get even. After retaliation gets a foothold, then anger sets in, and after anger comes hatred which says because I remember what you did to me, I am going to get even. In time hatred turns to violence. If violence is not dealt with it will lead to murder. This can be actual physical murder or murder with the tongue, which is character assassination or verbal abuse. Unforgiveness is one of the ways you allow the enemy to keep resurrecting things and events that should be buried. Only you have the power to put a stop to it. Unforgiveness is giving your past a future. Forgive all who have offended you, not for them but for yourself.  The fourth key is dependence on the Holy Spirit to help you pray effectively. Read Rom 8:26-27 Realize this-he is your helper. He is not going to pray for you, he is going to help you pray. The fifth key is intercession. An intercessor is one who takes the place of another in prayer. In Psalms 106:23-24 we read of Moses interceding:"Therefore He said that He would destroy them, had not Moses, his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away His wrath, lest He should destroy them". The deeper dimension of intercession is when you literally begin to identify with the individual you are praying for. This is what Jesus is doing right now at the right hand of God the father. He ever lives to make intercession for us. It is vital that you develop a strong and healthy prayer life. Through prayer you disappoint or frustrate the devices of the enemy, so that his hands cannot perform his enterprise against you or anything of lasting worth. Don't only pray when you are desperate or when it's convenient. Eph 6;18" Praying always with all manner of prayer and supplication in the spirit". Amp. version reads;" Pray at all times(on every occasion, in every season) in the spirit".

Prayer

Let's begin by saying that everything in the Kingdom of God is born out of your relationship with God. Divine intimacy always produces eternal fruit, it always bring about awesome results. Through prayer and intercession, great power is transmitted to the place of need. I believe the church needs a fresh consciousness of God, a perpetual holy awareness, a spiritual awakening, a fresh and vibrant outpouring of the spirit of prayer. You need to know that the potency of prayer has subdued the strength of fire, it has bridled the rage of lions, hushed anarchy to rest, extinguished wars, appeased the elements, expelled demons, healed diseases, repelled frauds, rescued cities from distraction, stayed the sun in it's course, and arrested the progress of satan and his kingdom. Prayer is an all sufficient full suit of armor, a treasure undiminished, a mine which is never exhausted, a sky not obscured by clouds, a heaven unruffled by the storm. It is the root, the fountain head, the mother of a thousand blessings and so much more. A prayerless person is spiritually weak. I am fully persuaded that through prayer we literally walk hand in hand with God through every situation, and always come out on the other side triumphantly. If prayer is put first, than God is put first and victory is ensured. The key to continual revival is to pray everywhere, pray in everything, and pray always. Luke 18:1 Jesus Christ said, men ought always to pray and not to faint or cave in. In the great storms of life; when we are helpless, and without relief, these are the natural and providential conditions of prayer.  You can either fall apart or rise up in prayer. You need to learn that praying is a business. A life long business , one to be followed with diligence, fervor and toil. The Christians business by way of preeminence is prayer, and it is his most engaging, most heavenly and most lucrative business. If you want your life to really count, and tired of being just average, then become mighty in prayer. Pray according to the Word of God not feelings or circumstances.

Leadership

A leader is one that leads or is able to lead, to guide on a way, often by going ahead, to be at the head of, to go  through first. In order for one to be a leader one must first have followers. A leader then, has the responsibility of being an example. Exodus 13:21 And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them in the way; and by night in the pillar of fire, to give them light; (this is being an example) to go by day and night(before the people). If we are called to lead others, we ourselves must first come under the leadership of the Holy Spirit. Rom 8:14 For as many as are led by the spirit of God they are the (mature) sons of God. Luke 4:1 And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness. The other thing that we are to come under is the rule of the Prince of Peace(Jesus)). Col 3:15(Amp) And let the peace of God rule or act as umpire in your hearts, deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds, and always be thankful. Also we must be led by the wisdom of God. Prov 3:17 Her ways (wisdom) are ways of pleasantness and all her paths are peace. When raising up leaders around us, they should have the right qualifications. Read Ex 18:13-26 and Acts 6:1-7. We are not to choose just anybody. God said, choose first of all, able men(women), such as fear God. Men capable of handling the task, fit for or worthy of being given responsibility and having enough power or skill to do something. Have the ability to bring forth power, strength, valor, wealth, virtue, and honesty. If they have loose morals or no self control, they are not fit to lead. They should be men of truth, hating covetousness, or men who will not sell out for money-cannot be bought. In Acts 6 they chose leaders because with growth comes more responsibility and all this began to take the Apostles away from their primary purpose which was prayer and the ministry of the Word. The results of them choosing leaders was the word of God increased, and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly, and a great number of the priest were obedient to the faith. And here is the important of laying on of hands and the purpose of impartation. Deu 34:9 And Joshua the son on Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom, for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did as the Lord commanded Moses. The Power of Starting

You know opportunities come to us all. But if you don't take advantage, if you don't act right away, and if you don't start now, you may lose your opportunity. I am saying this because I believe there is a window of opportunity available for the church right now, and we need to take advantage of it. I feel that the church needs to stop procrastinating. W. Clemens Stone, author of one of the best selling motivational books says if you want to be successful, don't wait till tomorrow-do it now. I don't know what it is in your life that you have been procrastinating about. Maybe it is starting your own business or perhaps, it is cleaning out your garage, or maybe it's going back to school and getting your diploma, or maybe it's blessing somebody financially. Whatever it is, do it now. Just start now. Let me give you three reasons why you should start now. First, to borrow a line from Benjamin Franklyn; one today is worth two tomorrows. Do you know that tomorrow is not as productive as you think? But today is filled with possibilities. Today holds the greatest potential for accomplishment. Secondly, start now because it removes the greatest barrier to your success, it removes the barrier called procrastination. Anyone who brags about what they are going to do tomorrow probably did the same thing yesterday. Start where you are with what you have and God will add the increase, and start with one thing at a time. Stay focused-the greatest gap between success and failure is knowing and doing. Now I believe the most common sin in the church today is the sins of omission. We all need to pray, forgive...etc.The question is, do we pray, forgive, tithe, read the Word, go to church, love others, love our wives. You may say, I never offend anyone, but do you reach out to anyone? You may say, I never talk about anyone, but do you ever talk to anyone? You've been thinking about someone you had a misunderstanding with, and you miss that person. Don't procrastinate, call them. Do it now. Thirdly, start now because it is the open door of opportunity. Learn to go through the door of opportunity when it opens to you. you never know how long that door will stay opened, or if it will ever be open to you again. Some people are afraid of failure and some don't want to put forth the effort. They rather stay in the comfort zone, but the comfort zone can be a deadly thing. Now if you want to be successful in whatever you want to do, you must go from thinking and believing into acting. Faith without works is dead. James 4:17, to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin. Now for those of you that are bound by fear of failure, you need to know that everyone who is successful has failed numerous times. There is nothing easy in life that's worth anything. To succeed, you will have to put forth effort, for nothing worth while is ever accomplished without effort(diligence). I urge you not to run with a borrowed dream, but go deep into His presence and discover God's dream for your own life so that you can give yourself completely to it and experience the unparallelled richness of something worth living for, yea even worth dying for. Take that first step. I call it the Power of Starting.

The Knowledge of His Will

Col 1:9 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that you might be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. What is the will of God? First, it's His good pleasure: Ps 103:21 Bless ye the Lord, all ye His hosts, ye ministers of His, that do his pleasure or His will. Second, His purpose: Isa 14:24 The Lord of Hosts has sworn, saying, surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass, and as I have purposed (or willed) so shall it stand. Third, it's that which He has determined: Luke 22:22 And truly the Son of man goeth, as it was determined (or willed) but woe that man by whom he is betrayed.  Finally, that which He desires: Ps 37:4 Delight thyself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of thine heart.  Matt 13:11 says: and Jesus answered them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven, but to them (the world) it is not given. The whole chapter of Romans 12 is for the purpose of you and I finding our place in the body of Christ. but to start lets read verses 1 and 2.  "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God."

The Ascent of Worship

I don't really believe that any individual can truly be a true worshiper of the true and living God until they first of all opened up the treasure house of their heart, surrendering their all at His feet and presenting unto Him these gifts of Gold, Frankincense, and Myrrh. First, one can go through all the motions of worship and not necessarily be a true worshiper. Why? Because worship is a thing of the heart. It is a heart connection, the surrender of the heart. Second, the bible teaches us that man was created to worship, but not everyone is willing. It seems to me that worship always demands an attitude and a posture of humility in that it's always connected with bowing down, kneeling down or falling prostrate with their faces to the ground upon the pavement. The surrender, the offering up of these three precious gifts(gold, frankincense, and myrrh) is what qualifies a person as a true worshiper of the living God. Why Gold? When God truly has your heart, then he also has your gold (money, first fruits, substance), the attitude of a true worshiper is all I have is yours, Lord.  II Cor 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly or of necessity: for God loves a cheerful giver.  Prov 3:9-10 Honor, glorify, worship the Lord with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase so shall thine barns be filled with plenty and thy presses shall burst out with new wine. Why Frankincense? When God truly has your heart then He also has your service. Frankincense is symbolic of the surrender of your life on the altar of service. Why Myrrh?
Myrrh is symbolic of our suffering. Aren't you glad that we serve a God that not only requires our gold and our frankincense in worship, but also bids us to bring our suffering, our pain, our headache, our misunderstanding, our disappointments, our sickness and disease to Him in worship as burnt or holocaust offering in order that He might totally consume the offering with His all consuming fire and in it's place or in return give us Beauty for ashes, the Oil of Joy for mourning, and the Garments of Praise for the spirit of heaviness. A true worshiper will never be broken hearted or sorrowful for long, for he or she knows where to take their pain and hurts and heartaches to, and knows that gossip, murmuring, complaining and unforgiveness will only deepen the wounds but worship will heal and make whole. In Zechariah 2:8 God said, he that touches you touches the apple of His eye.

Teaching on Spirit, Soul and Body

1 Thess 5:23"And the very God of peace sanctity you wholly: and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ." You are a Spirit being-you have a Soul and you live in a physical Body. Your Body is not the real you. It is the earthly house you live in. One day you will have a Glorified body. Your glorified body will not be subject to sin, sickness or death. It will be Eternal, just like your spirit. With your body you contact the physical world. Your physical body is literally the vehicle that God has given your spirit man to exist in. Your Soul is the intellectual part of you. The social part of you. When God said, "It is not good that man be alone", He was not talking about man's spirit, because God's fellowship and presence was more than enough for man's spirit to be complete and totally satisfied forever. However, because God had made man a tripartite being, he needed other humans to socialize and fellowship with. Now your spirit man is the part of you that needed to be born again. Your Spirit is the part of you that is in direct contact with God. Just as your physical man has a language, so does your spirit man. That heavenly language was lost at Babel, but restored to man at Pentecost in the Upper Room. Zephaniah 3:9 "For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that may all call upon the name of the Lord, to serve Him with one consent."  I Cor 14:2 "For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries or divine secrets."

What Drives Your Life

The word drive means to urge, push or force onward. Everyone's life is driven by something. You maybe  driven by a problem, a pressure, or a deadline. Perhaps you are being driven by a haunting fear, an unconscious belief, or a painful memory. Here are a few circumstances and emotions that can drive your life. Some people are driven by guilt. They painfully spend their entire lives running from regrets and hiding their shame. Guilt is the feeling of responsibility for wrongdoings. The deception of guilt is that it keeps you running away from God, telling you, God wants to punish you, he wants nothing to do with you. While the opposite is true. If you run to God when you mess up and ask Him for forgiveness, He will forgive you. God is our refuge and strength in times of trouble. People driven by guilt often unconsciously punish themselves by sabotaging their own success. Learn to say NO to these familiar spirits. We are all the products of our past, but we don't have to be prisoners of it.God's purpose is not limited by your past. He is the God of a second chance. Some people are driven by resentment and anger. They hold onto hurts and never get over them. Instead of forgiving,or receiving healing, they rehearse it over and over in their minds, allowing the roots of resentment and anger to grow deeper until it becomes a root of bitterness. That's toxic emotions, and is unhealthy. Believe that by setting others free, you set yourself free. This is the power of forgiveness. God wants to set you free from your painful past and release you into your God given future. Jer 29:11"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end." Some people are driven by fear. Their fears maybe a result of a traumatic experience, unrealistic expectations, growing up in a high control home, or even a genetic predisposition. Regardless of the cause, fear is a devastating force. Fears grow larger, if you start nursing them. Fears lie, and make us not go where we might have won. Living a life of fear is like leaving the parking brake on when you drive your car, it causes you to slow down and lose momentum. Remember, the word says, " For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." II Tim 1:7

Power to Get Wealth

Hosea 4:6"My people are destroyed (cut off) for lack of knowledge." You must be convinced from the Word of God that he wants you to prosper and succeed. The desire for prosperity should not be born out of greed, but from a revelation of the Heart and Word of God. The heart of God is revealed through His word. III John 2 says "Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth." Notice that God wants prosperity for the total person, and He takes pleasure in your prosperity. He wants you to prosper with a purpose. He longs to establish His covenant on the earth with you. Part of God's redemptive plan included Jesus Christ becoming poor that you might be rich as the Word says(II Cor 8:9). When and where did Jesus become poor? At the crucifixion. You need to know that every Great Achievement requires a willingness to begin small. An oak tree began as an acorn. A six foot man began as a tiny embryo in his mother's womb. Start with whatever  you have. That's your starting point. Do not be like the man in the Bible who had one talent and refused to use it.  Jesus began in a stable, but he did not stay there. David had a slingshot, but became a King. Joseph was sold as a slave, but became the Prime Minister of Egypt. The widow of Zarephath had a small pancake, but she sowed it into the work of God and created a continuous supply during the famine. Whatever you have been given is enough to create anything you have been promised. "Jesus said, where unto shall we liken the kingdom of God? Or with what comparison shall we compare it? It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth: but when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shootheth out great branches: so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it." Mark 4:30-32.

The Armor of God

Be strong in the Lord or be empowered through your union (your time in the Word, meditation, prayer and worship) and communion (a sharing together of ideas, feelings, heart to heart talks) with Him: (this is the place where divine exchange takes place. During this time of communion is where I trade my weakness for His strength, my sickness for His health, my inability for His ability) Draw your strength from Him (that strength which His boundless might provides). Put on God's whole armor ( the armor of a heavy armed soldier which God supplies, that you may be able successfully to stand up against all the strategies and the deceits of the devil. His number one source of strength is deception. Take unto you the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all to stand,(remain, abide, continue) stand therefore or hold your ground! Keep reading, studying, and meditating on the Word. Hold your ground, don't give in, or give out. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth or having tightened the belt of truth around your loins. The belt is what held many of the other parts of the armor securely in place. The word girt in the scriptures many times means, prepare yourself, or get ready to do something difficult. Loins are the part of you where you possess your procreative powers. This is the part of you that  fathers or give life. Keep praying, fasting, giving, loving, persevering, pressing on.....read Ephesians 6:10-20

Nevertheless at Thy Word

Have you ever failed, and felt like a failure! Peter said, I have worked hard all night long, and have caught nothing! Nevertheless at Your word, I'll try again. You may be one try again away from your breakthrough. Look at men like the Wright Brothers, Thomas Edison, and Henry Ford. Because they did not give up, but tried again, and again, they made great breakthroughs in history. If you've experienced rejection, remember it's merely someone's opinion. Jesus experienced more rejection than anyone. He was willing to experience a season of pain in order to create a permanent gain. You need to courageously move beyond your scars into your future. Perseverance in prayer is powerful. If you will be a champion for God, you will have to reprogram your thinking for distance. Reprogram your life for endurance. Have you ever turned away from the plan and purposes of God? Have you ever grown cold? Just ask God to revive you again. Restore, resuscitate, and renew you again. Ask God, set me Lord on fire once more. Have you ever felt as if the Heavens were brass, and your prayers were insignificant? It may seem like a defeat, but in the end, you will find that what seemed to be a defeat was a type of golden seed that would eventually produce an eternal harvest. The Cross seemed to be a defeat, but the resurrection was the harvest or the irreversible final victory that broke the devil's back once and for all. Don't give up. Nevertheless, pray again. Nevertheless, try again. Nevertheless, give again.

The God Kind of Faith

Faith is never past or future tense, but always present tense. Now Faith Is. Faith in God is always based or founded on God's Word, and not circumstances or feelings. The first step in the cycle of faith is hearing . Hearing brings potential to your attention. Take heed what you hear and how you listen. Your ears are the primary gates that lead to your human spirit and they are vitally connected to your heart where real faith is produced and stored. The second step in the cycle of faith is believing.  Believing is a choice. To believe is to make God's word or promise your own. You receive or embrace God's word as final authority. To believe is to take hold of what you have heard or read and see it as a reality for your own life, even though there may not be one single evidence of whatever it is that you are believing God for in the natural, you just know that you know that God who cannot lie will make His word good to you. The third step to the cycle of faith is saying it. What you have heard and believed must now be released through words. Lastly, you must do what you have heard, believed and spoken, in order for the cycle of faith to be completed.

Different Types of Prayer

Different kinds of prayers have different sets of rules that govern and make them effective to the Glory of God..Prayer of dedication and consecration: where you set people and things apart for a definite purpose in God. Prayer of thanksgiving and praise: Phil  4:6 "Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with Thanksgiving let your request be made known unto God." Prayer of committal: where you hand over to God either a thing, situation or person for safe keeping, and for God to carry out His will in their lives. Prayer of faith: Have faith in God or have the God kind of faith. "Therefore I say unto you, what things soever you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them." Mark 11:24. It's vital to know that faith begins where the will of God is known. Prayer of binding and loosing: whatever you forbid and declare to be improper and unlawful on earth must be what is already forbidden in Heaven, and what ever you permit and declare proper on earth must be what is already permitted in Heaven. Prayer of agreement: will increase your prayer power by at least ten percent. "For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them."

The Importance of Prayer

Prayer is fellowship with God. It is joining forces with God Almighty, and giving Him your authority as a human being here on earth, and thus allowing His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. Prayer is an attitude. For it involves more than just making a request. Also in order for one to have great results in prayer, one must be convinced of one basic fact: and that is, that God greatly desires to answer your prayers because you are His child and He loves you. Through prayer we move the hands that move the world.

Facts About The Person of The Holy Spirit

The most important thing in your life is recognition of the voice of the Holy Spirit. His voice is the only voice that truly matters. Nobody can talk to God for you. Recognition of His voice enables you to know your mission, discerning the pitfalls, and unleashing your faith for the next season of achievement in your life.  The Holy Spirit authored the Word of God. He selects the gifts and skills given to you by the Father. The Holy Spirit is a person and is easily offended. When He is offended, He withdraws His manifest presence. So remember, we need Him. He is our Helper and our Intercessor.

Principles for the Fulfullment of Destiny

A principle is a rule (or the usual way of doing something) stating something that always works in the same way under the same conditions. For example the law of  gravity. What goes up must come down. Here are some of the life changing principles: A young man said to me that his life began to change, when he started listening. Faith cometh by hearing. Faith begins where the will of God is known. Listening or hearing is so vital. Hearing brings potential to your attention. Next our eyes speaks of vision and the Bible tells us that without a vision people perish. It's speaks to us of perception and the principle is, if you can perceive it, you can achieve it. But you cannot allow your eyes to feed on or entertain everything that's set before them.If it is forbidden of God, no matter how pleasant it is to the eyes, don't mess with it. Hands prophetically speaks to us of our actions or our works. Also to me, hands speaks of how we handle things. How we handle or manage that which Good has given us the responsibility for. It is not all up to God,but man has a part to play. Next our feet speaks to us of our walk, our conduct, and way of life. It speaks of man's dominion. In John 13 when Jesus washed their feet, I believe He was prophetically saying to them, I am restoring back to you the dominion you lost at the garden.

Diffusing and Overcoming Anger

Is anger worth loosing your peace over, going to jail for, having physical or mental suffering or restlessness? Refuse to give the devil a foothold in your life. Vengeance belongs to God, so turn it over to Him. Forgive and let go. Make a decision to love not hate. Make a decision to get better not bitter. Choose peace over turmoil and strife. Choose to lift up people over putting people down. Choose hope over despair. Choose to be thankful rather than complaining and murmuring. Ask God for the Grace to see you through.

Dare to Make a Difference

Don't just exist, but dare to impact your world through Jesus Christ, and by the power of the Holy Spirit.. In order to succeed in life, you must learn to overcome the many efforts of others to pull you down. How you choose to respond to criticism will either make or brake you. Also don't allow yourself to become a critic and a fault finder. The same measure you put out, will be the same measure that will come back to you. Your assignments for God will require seasons of preparation. None of us are born qualified, we must become qualified. I believe you and I were destined to leave a mark in our world for the Glory of God.

Wisdom is the Principle Thing

Pov. 4:5 "Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth." Do not allow anything or anyone to deter you from daily sitting at the feet of Wisdom. Wisdom offers a life worth living. I believe your life will not change until you are willing to acknowledge that your decisions created your circumstances. It's choice not chance that determines destiny.

Seven Things That Equip for Ministry

Many times it's not what we do behind the pulpit or in church,  but is what we say and do outside the church that defeats us and gives Christians a bad name or reputation, marring our testimony for Jesus Christ. As Christians, we must be concerned about such things as our reputation ,our physical appearance, morality, ethics, etiquette or propriety, and temperament. These are needed to hold up the superstructure of a powerful ministry in the Holy Ghost, and to have the effectiveness to impact our world for Jesus Christ.

The Importance Of Fasting

"Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting."Matt 17:21. In other situations confession of sin, along with fasting, many times puts a stop to impending judgment. If you're in sin, your fasting is in vain. To fast is to humble your soul before God, and your fasting should be with the right motive and for the right reason.

Thinking The Thoughts Of God

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are yours ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heaven are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts." Isa 55:8. God Almighty has man on his mind, twenty four-seven, man is not an after though. He is God's primary focus of attention. Our mind, if left to itself, will soon begin to drift away from thinking right thoughts. Learn to discipline your mind to think on the thoughts of God, which is the Word of God.

Blowing The Devil's Cover

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in heavenly places." Eph 6:12. It is a spirit on assignment against the whole human race, in particular the entire body of Christ. It's a spirit so deceiving, that for the most part no one even knows it's there, no one ever confronts him or drives him out. It is the spirit of laziness. It's robbing you of both God's best and life's best. God wants you to shake yourself, and drive out this spirit far from your life.

Studies on Brokenness

The condition of the human heart is the key to a man's success or failure. Without the born again experience the Bible says that the human heart is depraved , or capable of doing the unthinkable. An unbelieving heart is a heart that rejects revelation and refuses to be enlightened. Your daily decisions are the brick and mortar that God uses to build the structure and walls of your life.

Redeemed

"Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the (broken) law, being made a curse for us:" Gal 3:13. And so Jesus Christ paid a price for you and I, in order to free us from sin and sins consequences. Christ poured out His life as a sacrificial, substitutionary payment and thus we are redeemed. Now we have the right in Jesus name to stand   against sickness, disease, poverty, and lack. The umbrella of protection and the benefits and blessings became available to man through obedience to the covenant with God.

LIFE'S STORIES - LIFE'S LESSONS

Have you ever taken the time to look over the story of your life? I have found that it is a very necessary piece of our life's journey. I will be turning 58 years old this month and as I look over my life thus far I see that every life has a story and every story has a lesson. I must be honest in saying that there are parts of my story I do not like revisiting and there are lessons I would rather not have learned yet I can also declare that He does make all things beautiful in His time. I remember reading that scripture years ago and thinking there was no way He could make that beautiful....no way! As the process continued I one day found myself encouraging someone else in the area that I thought was going to devour me and I understood in that moment that yes He had made it beautiful. It was beautiful to sit and to tell the story of His faithfulness in my life to someone who felt they did not have the strength to take another breath. It was beautiful to encourage someone not to let go of the anchor of hope in Jesus as they sat telling me of their hopelessness. It is beautiful to sit and encourage someone who feels downcast and depressed and tell them that He is the glory and the lifter of their head and He will not forsake them. It is beautiful to hold someone's hand as they speak of their lonliness and to remind them of the verse in Psalm 23 that says, for Thou are with me. The story goes on of the lesson's I have learned and that I continue to learn in the stories of my life. It is my prayer that you will begin to look at your journey in the earth and see the chapters of your life as your story of lessons learned. If you feel you have not learned a lesson then begin today to open yourself up to the spirit of the living God who is our teacher, our comforter and our wonderful counselor. God wants to use your story and the lessons you learn in your life's journey to speak of His goodness to you in the land in which you live. The bible tells us to go and tell of the good things He has done and today I pray you will see your life as story of lessons learned that speak of His faithfulness of all generations. I LOVE YOU, Gale
